EHCP, School and Tribunal Advocacy
Navigating the world of SEND support shouldn't feel like a battle, but we know it often does. Whether you're applying for an EHCP, appealing a refusal, or searching for the right school, we're here to guide you through every step with expertise and compassion.
EHCPs
Navigating the EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) process can feel like an overwhelming maze of paperwork, assessments, and challenges. Our EHCP application and review services are designed to take the weight off your shoulders and provide a clear, confident journey towards securing the right support for your child. We help you gather evidence, coordinate professional reports, draft strong applications, and ensure your child's needs are properly represented. Whether you're applying for the first time or reviewing your child’s draft EHCP, we'll make sure nothing gets missed and your voice is heard.
School Searches
It can be hard to find the right setting for your child. You may have a list of criteria but no idea where to start. Our school search experts provide a comprehensive report of schools that fit your criteria, using our detailed database and conversations with SENCOs and heads of school. We look at everything from the school's experience with specific needs to their approach to teaching, pastoral support, class sizes, and whether they can genuinely meet your child's needs and provision in their EHCP. We save you hours of research and help you make an informed decision about your child's future.
Appeals and Tribunals
Facing a Local Authority decision that doesn't align with your child's needs can feel like an overwhelming battle. Our SEND Tribunal appeal service offers end-to-end management and support, from challenging refusals to issue an EHCP to disputes over provision or school placement. We prepare your case, coordinate evidence, liaise with the local authority and tribunal, and support you right through to the hearing. You don't have to face the tribunal process alone.
Advocacy
Meetings with schools and SEN teams can be difficult, and you may feel like you're alone in trying to get the right support for your child. SEND Teach provides kind, caring and knowledgeable advocates to support you in meetings and have your back. Whether it's an annual review, a difficult conversation about provision, or a meeting where decisions are being made about your child's education, we'll be there with you – asking the right questions, ensuring your concerns are taken seriously, and making sure your child's needs remain at the heart of every discussion.
