SEND Teach was founded by Genevieve McNamara.
In the complex world of special educational needs, families often feel lost, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn. I founded SEND Teach with a mission: to provide a guiding light to support families to navigate the often ambiguous and challenging SEN system.
Professional Expertise:
10 years' experience in education - six years in primary schools and four years running SEND Teach
Experience as Assistant SENCO and Lead SEND Teacher
Created and ran a provision for autistic children
Specialist training in SEND advocacy and EHCP processes
First Class Honours in Primary Education
Qualified Teacher Status
Level 3 Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA)
Nadia - Tutoring Manager
Nadia joined SEND Teach in 2024 as a Specialist Tutor, and became our Tutoring Manager in 2026.
Nadia is an educational interventionist with a focus in reading disorders and a background in developmental psychology. She is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, and understands the value of Social, Emotional and Mental Health support alongside academic development.
Nadia is available to discuss your child’s needs and to support you to find the right tutor match for your child, to make sure your child feels comfortable, supported, and excited about their sessions from day one.
